  • Students will apply an ID Plan to create a self-paced online instructional unit delivered through a course (or learning) management system.
  • Students will read and respond to postings about education and educational technology on the social network by their peers
  • Students will be assigned regular readings posted to the social network by teachers and will reflect on the readings using guided questions provided by the teachers
  • Students will create an online Personal Learning Network (PLN) and will be required to share on the social network various readings and knowledge acquired via the PLN

- Students will be able to identify instructional problems, research and plan to implement the appropriate tools to achieve higher learning outcomes for students and then evaluate the effectivness.

- Communicate to peers 21st century tools that have been researched. They will share an overview of the tool, evaluation of tool and plan appropriate uses in an educational setting. (5.c, 5.a, 3.c)
- Collaborate with peers to select appropriate tools for a real-world scenarios. Each person will find a tool and implement to solve the issue. The group will the analyze results from multiple tools and evaluate which was the most effective. (3.d, 5.b)
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of various instructional tools. (3.a)
- Plan to use X tools in a lesson plan. Tools should be implemented as resources or tools for students to achieve higher learning outcomes. Students should be making a creative product. (1.b)
